Should I wash my hair with the bars of shampoo?

You can and I recommend trying, it will not feel the same as washing your hair with shampoo. Do not apply the bar directly to your hair, as you would a liquid shampoo. If you do this with soap, bits of it will become entangled in your hair and become difficult to remove, especially if you have long hair.
